Paired Power’s innovative new solar charger, the PairTree, offers a fresh solution to the challenges facing rapid deployment of EV chargers: lengthy permitting, approval, and construction cycles required for electric grid connections.
PairTree is an off-grid, transportable solar powered EV charger that can be deployed in as little as one day and delivers a reliable and resilient energy source, free from dependence on the grid. In addition, PairTree is ultraclean since all the energy comes from the sun, versus grid chargers, which often depend on “brown energy” from gas peaker plants to charge EVs.
PairTree is designed to withstand both cyber threats and adverse weather conditions, ensuring uninterrupted EV charging even during grid outages. PairTree pairs a 4.6kW solar array with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to provide Level-2 EV charging day or night.
Paired Power's charging stations aren’t limited to traditional deployment in fleet and corporate lots; they have also drawn the attention of forward-thinking consumers who are exploring off-grid and self-sufficient EV charging solutions.
